  • I'm not aware of any guidance or reports otherwise so I suspect, but cannot confirm, you can.

I have managed to install the UK version of Money 2002 on my Win 7 64bit machine.  I'm no expert but I was helped by advice from others, via a newsgroup (probably now defunct).

From memory, there were two main issues about the location of the data file *.mny and possibly updating the original program if necessary.  As it happens, these points are covered in a following thread 'Importing MS Money File from XP to Windows 7 ENVIRONMENT' so take a look there and all should be well.

Yes,  there was only one issue I ran into.

The data files and backup files cannot be in C: /Programs

They must be in some unprotected area like C:Documents

    I use the American Version.

    Good luck

FYI: this is true for apps besides Money and has been true since Windows Vista. So this is not just a Money issue or a Win7 issue.
