  • Question

  • hi,

I have passed my MS exam 11th of June 2013. Till today I didn't receive my MC ID and access code. I wrote email to Regional Support Center by they replied only that I have to wait.

Do you know if Microsoft have any problems with creating MC ID?

    thanks

  • Hi,

Normally it can take up to a week or so for the Prometric centers to send test results to Microsoft and for Microsoft to create your MC ID and account. If you have already contacted the regional service center, you did the correct thing. When did you receive the reply from them to wait?  If it was before the 18th of June, please contact them again. Generally you will receive a case number (or some similar identifier) from the regional service center when you call or email. Use this same number (if you have it) when you contact them again. This will help them locate your information.

  • Hi,

first email I have sent to them 21st of June and they replied for more details the same day. So I sent them immediately what they wanted. 2nd email with question about MCID I sent 24th and next one 28th of June. I received only explanation that they (Microsoft?) have some problems.

Is it very hard/complicated to create account and generate code?

    thanks

  • Hi,

All we could do is to give them a little bit more time. I have been in your shoes before. My scenario was I took the 70-462 paper and Prometric website took a couple of days to reflect that I have passed. Then it took around 2.5 weeks before it was reflected on my transcript.

So give them a little bit more time or just drop them a gentle reminder email.

    Cheers.

  • Also check your Spam folder..

I know that when I got my first MCP ID mail, it went straight to spam and I only luckily spotted before the initial password expired. If you are using strong spam filtering I would check there as well

  • yep, I checked spam folder, nothing inside. I wrote today email to them and received standard reply: "technical department is working on this issue. We will contact with you immediately once we receive reply from them".
