Office 2007 Ultimate all of a sudden saying not Genuine

Question
-
I've had Office 2007 Ultimate installed for ages, but now its saying its not genuine! I purchased the software through an offer on Microsoft's website for Uni students, I'm still a student, and I have kept the confirmation email of my purchase which states the order number, date, product etc. I've run the Genuine tool thingy and got this report:

You mentioned that you purchased Office Ultimate 2007 via the Microsoft Offer to University students.
According to the report, your computer currently has a nongenuine installation of Office Enterprise 2007. It looks like somehow your Office Ultimate 2007 was replaced with this nongenuine Office Enterprise 2007.
You should be able to correct the problem by uninstalling Office Enterprise 2007 using the Programs applet in Control Panel. After uninstalling, restart the computer twice, then do a fresh installation of Office Ultimate 2007 using the Product Key you got in your confirmation email. (Hopefully you kept a copy of the Ultimate download file on the computer, or chose to order the disc or chose to order the extended download privilege.)
After Office Ultimate is installed and activated, restart, then visit www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on the Validate Office button to ensure your fresh installation of Ultimate is OK.

Thanks for your reply Dan,
I did the steps you mentioned:
Uninstalled Office 2007 using the control panel
Rebooted x 2
Reinstalled Office 2007 - entered the Product Key from my confirmation e-mail
Rebooted
started up Access 2007 and asked me to Activate Office, I attempted to do this via the Internet but it failed, saying that I have used that the product key has been activated the maximum number of times, and I only have 20 more uses of the software before it becomes crippled(?)
I don't know what the maximum number of times is, but I have installed (and activated) the software on to a desktop of mine, but I haven't used that for easily 6 months, and have been using a laptop which I have had to rebuild. The laptop came with XP where I installed Office, then through the uni I got Vista, which I installed onto the laptop and then installed office, now I've downloaded and installed Windows 7 again through the uni (using ELMS for MSDNAA), and installed Office 2007 (and activated it)
I went to the www.microsoft.com/genuine page but obviously it failed...
Any other help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
On a side note: what's with the Moderator marking the question Answered for me, after only approx. 4 hours of your answer? I'm not an iPhone user, I don't need someone holding my hand... :)

Hello BazCardona,
First, rerun the mgadiag report and check to see if the installed Office has changed from Office Enterprise 2007 to Office Ultimate 2007. Just want to verify that we don't have an issue with mixed up installation files and/or discs, if any.
I am not sure but it could be that the Ultimate Steal Deal edition of Office may be limited to installation on one computer only. (FYI, full retail licenses for Office can be installed on two computers, one main computer [aka desktop] and one portable [aka laptop] computer.) You can check for yourself by reading the Software Licensing Terms of the Office installed on your desktop. Start Word, then click Word Option button then Resources then About Word. In the resultant dialog click on the link to view the Software Licensing Terms.
Assuming you get more that one installation with your Office........Once you've verified that Office Ultimate 2007 is now back in the picture, reopen an Office program to start the Activation Wizard again. However, this time select the option to activate Office using the Telephone. The telephone system allows a little more wiggle room for activation, and if there still is a problem, you can choose the option to speak with a live activation representative to "state your case" ;-)

However the installed Office is Enterprise 2007.
Is there some kind of a mix up with the installation discs or download file?

Hi again Dan,
I'd like to say thank you for pointing out the obvious to me!! I feel embarrassed! I was installing the wrong version of Office; on the physical CD I had written that it was Ultimate when it was only Enterprise! I re-downloaded & installed ultimate and validated it no problems, it initially said it was still non genuine, but passed the tests on the web, so a reboot and install of updates seems to have fixed it.
It all must have come about when I installed Win 7 from scratch then installed Enterprise and then used my Ultimate key!
Thanks again, and sorry for taking up so much of your time.
