Will Microsoft Release a Voice Logging Solution to OCS 2007 ? RRS feed

  • Does anyone know if Microsoft will relese a voice call logging solution that will archive an actual voice file on a server when releasing ocs 2007 ?

  • Covergence (www.covergence.com) has a solution for LCS 2005 and I know they are also working on a 2007 solution.

  • LignUp has a complete solution that is out for OCS/LCS 2005 and 2007. They are also a primary partner of MS.

  • Although not an MS product, we have been beta testing another product called Live-PA from a company in the UK called POSTcti which does OCS call recording.  Their website is www.postcti.com or theres details about the offering at blog.live-pa.com

  • Just a update here:  The R2 release will repackage the Call Detail Records component with the QoE server, placing the Archiving role by itself.  CDR has not been extended to include voice call CONTENT, only details.
