    I recently purchased a new computer that came with a trial subscription to Live OneCare.  It continues to ask me to subscribe without telling me or providing a link to tell me the associated fees.  Please advise the price to activate Live OneCare and the ongoing subscription costs, if any.

    http://onecare.live.com will have all of the information for your locale. You can typically get Windows Live OneCare at retail for much less than the full retail price ($49.95 per year in the US for up to 3 PCs) and use the retail key from inside the box to activate your subscription.
    Be sure to read the announcement at the top of the forum. OneCare will be fully supported through the life of your subscription if you choose to subscribe now for 1 year. Later this year a free anti-malware product will be offered that will not include the extra features of OneCare and you will receive messaging on how to transition to the new product before your subscription ends.
