    I am very disappointed that LiveMesh is coming to an end for Windows XP.

    I don't really understand Microsoft why they are intent on making things

    as difficult as possible for users who are very happy with this product.

     

    We only use it for remote desktop - we don't need to sync or store data.

    Is there really no way on continuing with LiveMesh remote desktop

    capabilities after March next year when LiveMesh comes to an end?

    No, there's no alternative available from Microsoft.

    There are many 3rd party alternative for easy Remote connectivity.

    Windows XP Professional allows remote desktop connections inbound, but that would require you to configure your router/firewall to establish the connection from the Internet.
