Unable to open certificate RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Gmail API, configured to use a personal certificate. This used to work perfectly fine on Windows Server 2003, but now that I upgraded to WIndows Server 2008 I can't seem to get this to work. When accessing my ASP.NET application through IE, I get the following error (even though the IWAM account was granted read/write permission to the certificate:

    Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

    Exception Details: System.Exception: Unable to open certificate. IWAM_plesk(default) subject: Email Certificate V2

    Source Error:

    Line 34:           string t1, t2;
    Line 35:
    Line 36:           crypt.LoadKeys(out t1, out t2);
    Line 37:
    Line 38:           Session.Add("CryptKey", t1);

    Source File: c:\inetpub\vhosts\domain-name.comhttpdocs\gmail\GoogleSSO\Login.aspx.cs    Line: 36

    Server Error in '/gmail' Application.

    Unable to open certificate. IWAM_plesk(default) subject: Email Certificate v2

    Any help would be appreciated!
