  • Question

  • I receive the following error when trying use the CRM Configurator Wizard:

    Action Microsoft.CRM.Setup.Common.Analyzer+CollectAction Failed.

The 'SQLOLEDB' provider is not registered on the local machine.

    Any ideas?

  • Try this as well (as I have just been informed).

    1. Open a command prompt.

    2. Change to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB\.

    3. Type the following command: regsvr32 sqloledb.dll

    4. The tool should confirm that the DLL is registered successfully.

  • I've seen this before albeit a long time ago. I recall the issue being caused by an incorrect version of MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) - I think copying the file from a working pc or even updating MDAC resolved the issue.
