Error adding new CRM Org RRS feed

  • Question

  • CRM 2011, UR15, SQL 2012

I keep getting this when trying to add a new Org with the name CRM, I can add CRM2 or something else fine but it doesn't like the Org being called just 'CRM'. There isn't anything in the Deployment Manager for 'CRM' nor is it mentioned in the Organisation table in the MSCRM_CONFIG DB.

    Any ideas?

  • this appears to be down to using the same Organisation Name twice, I.e you create one, delete it then you cant use it again.

Also if it failed to create, as this one did and then you try again it fails.

Is there a way around this? this Organisation isn't listed in any of the Organization tables in the MSCRM_CONFIG DB.

  • i just tried this and it worked ok on mine and I have the same config you have. I would delete the crm_mscrm database (if it was created) and make sure the .mdf and .ldf files are removed as well and then try again.

  • I tried that, but it didn't make a difference.

    Any other ideas?

  • Any luck with resolving this issue, Pete?  I'm running to the same issue with a client and it's holding up the project.

    Thanks,

    Chris
