I am having to renew Windows OneCare Live that I just brought??? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have just brought another Windows Live One Security Package, I got it from Walmart becasue I do not buy stuff over the internet. This is my second time and it is not even 2 months old and it is telling me to renew it..I just got it. I need to talk to someone in person because there is nothing in here to help me. I need this fixed or My Money back or I will go somewhere else for my security.

    Thank you for your time,

    Cynthia R.

  • Cynthia,

If your subscription to OneCare shows expired in OneCare

    • Check your PC date and time.
    • Check your subscription status by logging in with your subscription LiveID at http://billing.microsoft.com
    • Confirm that this is the same LiveID shown to be the Subscription ID in OneCare - Help/About…
    • Open OneCare and click "Check for Updates" to have OneCare check for updated credentials

If your subscription is correctly shown at the Billing site, but incorrect in OneCare and your PC date and time are correct, please contact support.

How to reach support (FAQ) - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2

When you say it is your second time, do you mean that you purchased a second retail CD after your subscription showed expired prematurely?
