    Really thanks for posting in the MSDN forum.

    Can you connect to your TFS before? Which TFS version did you use? Do you get any log files/detailed log messages in your side?

    For the connection issue, you would check that whether it is related to the Team Explorer/VS cache, or your TFS has any latest update packages or the configurations like permissions or other issue.

    Since this forum is just used to discuss the VS tools, for the TFS issue, it has the new supported site here: 


    To help you resolve this issue as soon as possible, I suggestion you post the latest information to the Stack overflow forum with the TFS tags, you would get dedicated support from the TFS members.
