MS SQL Server - Error during System Checks RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am installing Dynamics CRM 2011 but at System Checks I get the errors:

    Microsft SQL Server
        Login failed for user '[DOMAIN]\networkadmin'
    Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server http://[servername]/reportserver. Error: The operation you are attempting requires a secure connection...

I did setup a separate domain user SQLSeverAdmin with the role "Standard User with administration links". Several services are now running under that account, namely SQL Server, SQL Server Agent, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services 10.0 and SQL Server Reporting Services.

Should I have chosen the default rather than creating a new account to run this services under? If not do I need to give the SQLServerAdmin a different role? Finally, where during the CRM setup to I define which account to use during login? Is it under "Specify Service Accounts" which includes Applicaiton Services, Deployment Web Service, Sandbox Processing Service and Asynchronous Processing Service (thought none of them seem to apply)?
