New MCDS App Builder certificate for people with MCDS Web Applications certificate

  Hello, I've got question about the new certification path MCSD App Builder. When someone has got MCSD Web Applications certificate and is obliged in 2017 to recertificate can he pass the new exam to get new MCSD App Builder certificate or should just pass the 494 exam and keep the old one active?
