Why doesn't Win7 install determine that you have WHS on your LAN and install Connector software RRS feed

    I recently installed Win7 on three of my PCs after having bought the Win7 family pack.  Why can't MS have Win7 install process check your LAN for a WHS server and if found then offer to install the Connector software?  Surely that is technically possible and also aimed right at the "technically unsophisticated" target market for WHS.

    Good idea, but probably not the focus of the Win7 group to add this feature. :(
