  • Hello,

Can we use plug-in without the registration in Plug-in registration tool. If yes, how can we do that?

Is it possible to run plugin for selected users or it runs only for admin user? If it can be run only for selected users, how can we do that?

    Thanks & Regards,

    Srinivas Kamutam.

  • Hi Srinivas,

There isn't any other way of registering plug-in then Plug-in registration tool.

In Addition, You can not specify plug-in to run for specific user. However, you can only specify context of user to run plug-in on.

Furthermore, You can get context user detail and check that in your plug-in code to place restriction.

    Thanks and regards,

  • Hi Solanki,

Thanks for the reply. What do you actually mean by the "context of the user"?

  • Hi Srinivas,

I mean by "Context of the user" is the user who is performing action such as creating/update/deleting etc. on a record on which plug-in is registerd.
