Extension of subcription by 6 month requires credit-card data?

Hi!

Dept. billing@microsoft.com informed me in eMail about my OneCare subscription will be extended by 6 months.

I have no credit-card data at billing.ms because I've used a prepaid product key to activate OneCare subscription about one year ago.

Should I specify credit-card data at billing.ms to get the extra 6 moths?
Should I specify my next prepaid product key (token) instead?

NOTE: I knew OneCare discontinued status before purchasing product boxes!

You can't use the retail keys.

You should not need to do anything to get the free extension. You can sign in at https://billing.microsoft.com to see your current subscription status and information about the extension.
Oh, and you do not need to provide credit card data - it is a free extension. :-)

Moderator
