Restrict users the advanced find in MSCRM RRS feed

  • Hi friends, Can you just help me in restricting the users of using advanced find , there is a critical requirement to restrict this option Thanks in advance Regards, Kumar

  • Hi Kumar,

    there is no right for advanced find in crm, so you can't restrict users from using advanced find in supported ways.
    In unsupported ways you can change the aspx-site, so the advanced find button is not displayed. But if the user use the direct link for advanced find, he can use it.

  • Advanced Find is restricted by Security Roles so if user don't have access to other contacts it will not see them by Advanced Find. As you can see all of us asking you why restrict if they are have access to this data already.
