I administer to a group of Dell Optiplex 7010 machines running Windows 7 professional 64-bit. A few months back there was a problem when running the microsoft windows update utility because one of the updates would cause the machine to become trapped
in an endless boot loop. This was specifically update KB3033929. I now have a few machines which are again getting caught in this loop although I have carefully checked to ensure that I am NOT running the offending update. I am running the update
routine and allowing the CPU to indicate which updates to run, but NOT examng each update for possible flaws. Has anyone worked out which is the "bad" update and/or found an easier fix than nuking the system and rebuilding from the
floor up? Thanks for your help
