Valid Office key not working. RRS feed

  • I have a key for Office that I have been using for a few years now, recently purchased a new PC and need to re install it. This is a valid code that has passed genuine advantage tons of times, I even have the email from Microsoft thanking for purchase of key.
     I am unable to use the key now, it says it is invalid.
    Please Advise so I can get out of the trial version. Obviously I am not going to publish my code here, but upon request from a microsoft employee I will do so in private email.

    Please submit a service request with Microsoft Product Support. Include your Product Key for Windows so that we may analyze specifics surrounding the problems you are encountering. Then run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Test (MGADT) again for inclusion with the support incident. This will enable us to review current information after the changes you made. Once this is completed, please reply back to this post and provide the SR # generated by the service request .

    By clicking the link below, you will download the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool (MGADT).  Then click the Run button. Then click the Run button again. Then click the Continue button to perform the diagnostic. The Windows tab should show, click the Copy button to paste your report to the clipboard.  Then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum by adding a post in it and pressing Ctrl V (to paste the text).     1. What edition/version of Office do you have? To find your edition/version click Start, Word Options, Resources, About,there you should find the title of your edition.

  • I can run this tool, but it will do me no good, as I currently have office pro trial installed. that is working fine, the question is about my preious product key that now shows to be invalid, that i have used for a few years now. My key is for Office 2007 Professional plus. it was a digital download from microsoft. I have the email from Msoft including my key if this will help.
