CRM 4.0-Reports Published for External Use RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Our client requires some support staff to access CRM reports. We have our SSRS reports in Dynamics CRM. I have published them using "Publish for External usage". I have system adminsitrator rights and I can see those reports on Report Server. I have added a support staff user who is CRM user also to SQL Server Reporting Sevrices server as "System Administrator" role through http://reportserver/reports->  Site Settings-> Configure site Wide Security.

Then i selected the Reports folder  and add him through security and gave him Browser, conent manager and publish reports.

When support staff user goes to Report Server using URL, he dioes not see anything. Not a single fodler there. If he goes to http://<server>/Reportserver  URL, he gets follwing error.

The permissions granted to user 'Domain\user' are insufficient for performing this operation. (rsAccessDenied)

If i add that user as Administrator to Report Server box, then he is able to see everything. We do not want that to use.

What rights I am misisng? Any help.
