Remote users can not log in through edge server since upgraded to RTM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I just upgraded (reinstalled) my environment to RTM bits

    And since that I cant connect with OC remotely.

    Setup is like this

    Office communicator connecting to

    Edge server on external ip 192.168.100.12

    Edge Server internal ip 192.168.100.10

    OCS Standard server ip 192.168.100.9

    So there are no firewalls or anything like that in the way of the servers.

    But I do get this error message when using the Logging tool on the edge server and trying to login

    TL_ERROR(TF_SECURITY) [0]046C.06FC::08/08/2007-14:33:14.796.00000a0a (SIPStack,SIPAdminLog::WriteSecurityEvent:1224.idx(431))$$begin_record

    LogType: security

    Text: The connection from a remote user client is refused because remote user access is disabled

    Result-Code: 0xc3e93d6d SIPPROXY_E_CONNECTION_EXTERNAL_INTERNET_ACCESS_DISABLED

    Peer-IP: 192.168.100.12:1146

    Peer: 192.168.100.12:1146

    $$end_record

    And I have checked that the user account is enabled for remote access. But is there any where else to check now or… ???

    Oh i found some more... i also do get this

    TL_ERROR(TF_SECURITY) [0]061C.0AE8::08/08/2007-15:00:07.171.00000016 (SIPStack,SIPAdminLog::WriteSecurityEvent:1224.idx(431))$$begin_record

  • If you get these error message.... make sure that you have typed in the right sip domain name under properties for the edge server / internal / Internal SIP domains supported by your organization:

    Of course I did and never saw any link thought the real version, is the trial version the same as the RTM version ? Thats mean I can install the trial and It's going to be upgradable ? I thought we had to reinstall the real version over the trial if we were doing that.

    Thanks !

  • Sorry I missunderstood what RTM mean i think. I thought it was available for MSDN and it was not the trial version.

    Hope also you will fix your problem.
