    I have recently finished my new build gaming pc, i have been having a few problems with a nforce 680i motherboard which i have now hopefully sorted out, due to this i have had to format my hd and reinstall XP several times over the last couple of weeks.

    I had to reinstall my oem copy of windows XP several times recently with no problems at all, i did it again yesterday hopefully for the last time, however i cannot validate my copy ?? every time i try to over the internet  i get a mesage saying

    Activation cannot be completed at this time i have 29 days left to activate it

     

    i cannot understand this as i have had no problems in activating it several times previous

     

    any ideas anybody ??

    If you cannot successfully activate via the internet, then choose the alternative option to "activate by phone". 

    The Activation Wizard displays the toll free number that you can dial.

    You can open the Windows Product Activation wizard by clicking Start, then Run, and type in "oobe/msoobe /a", then press the Enter key located on your keyboard.
