ActiveX Control implementaion in asp.net web application.

  All,

  I am new to asp.net development. Could you please guide me how to create activeX Control for asp.net web application.

  I have gone through some of the web links but none of them worked for me. Please share with me the working example of ActiveX control. The purpose of using ActiveX control

  is that I have an asp.net application and I want to create a folder on the client machine and also search for existence of particular files on the client machine, On the internet forums was told to use activeX Control for this.

  Please tell me how to do this. I know this is the wrong forum for this type of question but you guys can at least guide me to the right direction.
