  • ... however, that won't cure the problem of what appears to be a counterfeit install.

The installed Product Key is one from a Sony machine - and cannot be valid in an ASUS computer.

For which version and edition of Windows is THIS computer licensec, according to the COA sticker on the case??

  • The computer is Asus but the working hard drive is from sony machine.

Asus hard drive broke so i swaped it to the sony one, both bought trough retail and have cd's with me both are Home Premium

EDIT: Nvm, i realised that i haven't turned my computer off so when i restarted it dissapeared.

  • Please post another MGADiag report - there is no way that the machine should be reporting as genuine with the current errors and configuration.

You CANNOT simply move a hard drive from one machine to another - I suspect that you are now in a 3-day grace period after which it will again show as non-genuine.
