Suggestion: Undo "Vote as Helpful" RRS feed

  • Question

  • It would be very nice to be able to undo the "Vote as Helpful" mark.  If you hit this by accident, there is absolutely no recourse or way to correct your mistake.

The system obviously detects that you've marked it before (since it prevents you from marking twice), so it seems like undoing should be possible.

  • Good point.  A general way to undo currently "permanent" actions would be nice, no matter what the action.

If you're using the forums a lot, eventually, you're bound to click on the wrong thing.  It's annoying to have voted up somebody's post whom I was actually criticizing, and since I goofed, I can't undo it.

I've accidentally hit "propose an answer" more than once, too...

I just did a Vote as helpful, and unfortunately it was a very unhelpful post that I hit it on.  There REALLY needs to be a way to undo that!
