CRM Button missing on a item in Outlook RRS feed

  • Hi,

    decided to post very simple "solution" because I could not find a similar article on the internet.

    So we got CRM Client 2011 update rollup 10 and Outlook 2010. And when clicking on "New meeting request" in calendar we would not have the "Track" and "Set regarding buttons" at all. I point out that this can happen on any item: contact, tasks, phone calls...

    The solution is to go to Outlook->File->CRM->Options->Synchronization->Outlook filters:

    here you can choose any item you want to have your CRM menu on the Ribbon. Please DO NOT forget to click the green play arrow! only then will the view will really be applied. Then you can click OK.
