Asked by:
Can not access my learning

Question
-
I can not sign into my learning or access any of the courses. I go to the following URL to sign in:
http://learning.microsoft.com/Manager/default.aspx
I enter my password and click enter and get an error stating IE can not display the page.
I can log into the MCP website:
Click learning manager on the left pane and go to my learning:
http://learning.microsoft.com/Manager/default.aspx?brand=Learning
I click on a course (4623 for example)
https://www.microsoftelearning.com/eLearning/courseDetail.aspx?courseId=59297
The course opens, but there is a sign in button instead of a sign out button (since I am signed in). I check the agreement box and click on activate and the following sign in screen appears:
https://www.microsoftelearning.com/unauthorized.aspx
Click sign in:
IE can not display the webpage:
If I go to a course that is activated and partially completed the course contents are listed as unactivated and unavailable (no resume buttons, sync buttons etc.)
This all just started on Thursday june 26. I had no problems on the site for several months before then.
I am running Vista ultimate. I have tried to access the site from XP Professional running in microsoft virtual PC with the same results. I don't beleive I have ever logged onto the site from the XP system, so it should not be a cookies or cache problem. I would love to get this fixed and get back to studying.

Yep same here. It's really poor isn't it? How unreasonable of paying customers to expect to be able to access a reliable product or at the very least have a decent support channel with feedback?Friday, June 27, 2008 5:48 PM

Thanks Allen for your feedback. We had a production issue with the learning manager this morning that would have prevented you from logging in. This has been fixed.
Can you please attempt to log in and let me know if you have any problems?
Thanks-

Hi wrightc23-
I sense a little frusturation in your responses and I am sorry to hear that. This sign in problem that we had this morning was unplanned and resolved rather quickly.
I am curious to know a little more about your "decent support channel with feedback" comment? I am on the product team for the Learning Manager so your feedback is as close as it gets to the team. Can you elaborate on your comment so I can address it?
Thanks!
Alicia
