  I don't like this google software at all simply because it only gives you the basic tools only and takes a lot of memory

   

  I would rather recommend IRFAN VIEW it is free with lot of plugins it supports all the image formats and takes very less memory

  you can do image to jpeg conversion with this and add many plugins
