Project Server 2010 - Custom Field Reporting

how do i create a business intelligence report on project level custom fields when the custom fields do not meet the requirements to be included in a cube? my report should list; by customer the value for each custom field. i am flexible on what to do with the data when more than one value exists for a given custom field (ie., additional column, included in existing column, additional row, etc.). for instance, i have project level custom fields connected to look up tables and those custom fields can have multiple values. for example, we can select more than 1 product for each customer.

If the data is not in the OLAP cube you need to build a report against the reporting database. The common technique for this is to use SQL Server Reporting Services and develop the reports with Report Builder. The options and how to are covered in a white paper that you can find here:

You can also edit the data connections that connect directly to the RDB, to include the fields you need.
