Why Vista alert me "Your Windows runnig to expired " ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • 2 Weeks ago , Vista notified me that your Windows expired in 15 days later .

I Asked this problem from another Microsoft Answer's Forum , and suggested to active by automatic phone .

And do that . And successfully activated . But vista alert me that your Windows running to expired again .

Then I went to properties ( by right click on my computer or Control Panel\System ) and shown activated . But Windows alert every day !!!

I confused . What should I do ? ( In Control Panel\System Shows Activated but in another hand alert to expired ??!!! )

  • ricklles871 and Saeidonline,

First off, this is not an Non-Genuine issue and is off topic for this forum

From your Diagnostic Reports:  "Build lab: 6002.lh_sp2rc.090130-1715"

You both have the Release Candidate (i.e. beta) of Service Pack 2. All Beta Microsoft software expires at some point.  Your Release Candidate of Service Pack 2 is expiring very soon.

The resolution is to Uninstall the Release Candidate of Service Pack 2 and install the Released version.

If you have any problems with uninstalling the beta service pack, please see the Service Pack support page at http://support.microsoft.com/ph/11732#tab1.  If the information on the page doesn't help, click the link on the right side under "Get Help Now" The link will take you to Live Support. My understanding is that Service Pack issues are supported at no cost.

     Thank you,

(not the forum... my computer threatening to loose windows)

I removed RC SP2 and solved my problem .

thank you Darin Smith MS ;)

  • Might you still have the Beta or Release Candidate of Service Pack 2 installed?

If so, then the problem is not a Non-Genuine issue. The problem is that you have a Beta or Release Candidate of SP2 ready to expire. It needs to be removed and then you can install the Released version of SP2.

If not, then download and run the Genuine Diagnostics tool (MGADiag.exe) at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012. Click "Continue", click the "Copy" button then “Paste” the report into a reply message in this thread.

    Thank you,

     Thank you,
