Deleted passport ID

Question
-
I deleted my passport by accident - thought I was deleting a different one but persistent cookies and IE8 confused things.
I recreated it, but I don't have access to my Live Mesh folders anymore. Can this be fixed?
I was using the RC build of Win7 + IE8.Wednesday, June 3, 2009 5:49 PM

How did you "delete" your Passport? If you canceled your LiveID - http://account.live.com - then you no longer have access to your live Desktop or any other services or accounts. If you have a new LiveID, you will have to sign up for these services again.
You may be able to recover your canceled LiveID if you contact support - https://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=liveidv1&market=en-us
Select any topic on the left hand side or search for a question in the search box.The results of your search or the clicked topic appears in the right hand frame, along with a tiny link in the lower right hand corner – “Get more help.”
Click that tiny link and you will get to a page with a link “Contact support”
Click that link and you will be presented with the email support form to fill out. Provide as much detail as possible and you should get a response from support within 24 hours.

Ok, filed that request with support.
In the (likely, I think) event they tell me "sorry", how do I clean up existing Mesh Folders? Here's what happens if I try to delete folder:
Could not stop synchronizing folder with one or more devices in your mesh.
Request to MOE failed with status code:
401 Not authorized to access specified resource.
My Mesh folders are still blue - they think they're in a mesh.Thursday, June 4, 2009 9:59 PM -
Let's cross that bridge when we get there. I suspect you will need to uninstall Live Mesh and that will revert the folders to normal folders. Once reverted, you can install again and sign in with a new LiveID or the restored LiveID and set up the sync relationships again.
