    Hey!

     

    I was just about to try Microsoft Fix It Center tool, then the following error box appears during installation:

An unexpected error has occurred. Setup cannot continue. Please close and try again.



Error: Unrecognized configuration section system.serviceModel. (c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config line 134).

    Any ideas how to fix it and proceed installation?

    it seems your machine.config is corrupted,  try to copy it from another machine, or you can share out the machine.config, and we can take a look.

    I cannot access the file, you do need to install 64 bit .net framework if you have bot done yet.
