Help with ServeRAID II RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all, I want to re-purpose my IBM Netfinity 5500 M20 to a Home Server.  Attempted to load but error with "Drive capable of hosting a windows home server was not found..."  The server uses IBM's ServeRAID II, so went to the IBM suport and downloaded the Windows 2003 Server driver...no happiness, same error.  Checked here and there and found that Microsoft  says to use the drivers for Server 2003, or Server 2000.  Still no luck.

Here's the thing,  my Small Business Server (SBS) 2003 software loads fine with a native IBM driver that is in SBS as it sets-up. The driver information from SBS shows, "IBM ServeRAID II Controller; Driver provided by Microsoft, 10/1/2002, Driver Version 5.2.3790.1830, Signed by Microsoft"" and is located at \Sys32\drivers\ipsraidn.sys"

How do I get this driver onto a floppy and ready to load with an F6 function when I start the Windows Home Server 2003 setup?

Thanks in advance as any help will be appreciated.
