CRM 2011: Share my Dashboard RRS feed

    Hi,

    The Sales manager wants to view dashboard of all his team members (sales guys). I simply shared the dashboard of each of the sales guy with the Sales Manager. But the Charts which are built above individual Views like My Open Opportunities show data of Sales Manager and not Sales guy. What could be an appropriate solution for this?

    Should I go ahead and create Public Views for each sales guy then create a chart for each of them and then add those charts to a dashboard?

    Yes, it won't work if your chart is based on "MY Open Opportunities" view. You can create a seperate view for individual user. I rather create seperate chart plotting opportunity values against the opportunity owners. This way he can see all the sales guy's opportunities in the same chart. I hope this helps.

    To get around the issue of My Open Opportunities View , Just create a new view with definition where opportunities are owned by users from Sales manager's team .And share that dashboard with the sales manager.

    Which type of views & charts will be preferable? Personal or Public?

    Should it be Personal then it could be shared to set of Sales Managers & Sales VP.
