Question about routing calls to speech server RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm just trying to figure this out.

What is the correct flow for using Speech Server IVR?

Should our Sip Proxy send the call to mediation server, and then through some sort of routes, mediation sends the call to the speech server, or should the sip proxy send the call (sip invite) directly to the speech server, and then the speech server does whatever it has to do with the correct application, and send the call to OCS-> MOC client?

So far the test I've done is to send the call directly to speech server, which works, but I'm not quite sure that this is the correct call flow..

    Can someone please iluminate me?

    Thanks,

  • Speech Server is completely stand alone and does not require any other OCS roles.

Routing calls directly to MSS from the SIP proxy would be the easiest way to get calls to it.
