I am not receiving my boyfriend's Live e-mail to my Live e-mail account. How can I fix this?

  I am not receiving my boyfriend's Live e-mails.  We have tried the following:  1) deleted him as my contact and re-created; 2) he has deleted my contact and re-created; 3) he has deleted my contact and then with a new e-mail from me, made me a contact using the e-mail.  I still do not receive e-mails from him; however, he is able to receive e-mails from me.
