How install SP1 RTM on server? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm running my Vail RC as a guest OS under Hyper-V Server 2008R2. I'm working on software that uses SP1-specific functionality, so I'd like to test on Vail.

Is there a way to apply SP1 RTM to Vail RC? As an earlier poster pointed out, the prerelease SP1 on Vail has to be uninstalled before applying the SP1 RTM. First look shows no obvious way of doing this.

No you'll need to wait until WHS 2011 RTMs. The version we have was
slipstreamed with the beta of SP1, it wasn't installed therefore there's no
    way to remove it.
