error - "invalid config during initialization..." on WM 6.5

  The current Live Mesh client does not play well with WM6.5 - especially on the HTC devices.
  Have a look at these threads:

  The fact that it is working at all means that you are somewhat lucky. I don't know when a new build will be made available for WM6.5 devices.

  I see there are problems, for sure.
  
  So, more specifically, where are the credentials for Mesh stored on WM6.5?

  I don't know the answer to that, but assume that it is stored in the registry. However, there is no known workaround for the error you are seeing.
