Can a plugin on Post contact create know whether the contact is being created by set regarding? RRS feed

  • I got a very interesting requirement on plugin that was registered under post contact create. This plugin gets triggered post contact create, irrespective of whether contact is created by UI or workflow or scribe job etc. Microsoft outlook with CRM has a default behaviour where you use set regarding in outlook client the email addresses in from and to field are auto-created as contact in CRM, if they are not in CRM already.

    My question here is, how do I differentiate whether the contact is being created by UI or through set regarding in post contact create plugin? I checked on the pluging execution context but no luck with it.

    Any help is much appreciated.
