Windows 7 Build 7601 Not Genuine - Dell Inspiron RRS feed

  • Question

  • We bought my girlfriend a Dell laptop from QVC less than a year ago. It did not come with an OEM disk. Thanks to some issues I did a reload about 2 months ago using a Dell OEM disk I have. About two weeks ago it started getting the pop up saying Windows 7 isn't genuine... yadda yadda yadda.

Is the pop up due to the OEM disk I used? I have a commercial copy of Windows 7 I'm not using. Is there a way to use that activation key instead without having to do a full reload of the laptop? Diagnostic below...
