Within our Office 365 we have staff and students on different domains. I would like to hide all students from the global address list. I'm happy to do this in powershell but can anyone advice how this might be done.

Now this thing in Exchange onprem can be done like this.

Hide Mailboxes from Address Lists in Exchange Server

Get-Mailbox Timmy | Set-Mailbox -HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled $true
Set-mailcontact John -HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled $true
