Hitting ESC during Windows Vista Start Up RRS feed

  • Question

  • My Mom is running Windows Vista on a HP touch screen desktop computer. She mistakenly hit ESC during the Windows Start Up process and now the computer will not start the correctly. She gets either a blue or black screen asking her to boot from another location. She has tried to turn off the computer, leave it alone for a bit, and then restarted, but it still returns to this same screen choices. From what she describes to me, she is not in a DOS prompt screen, but she cannot select the C; partition to start up from. Any help or advice is appreciated.
