Answers

  • The current installation is counterfeit.

    The Product Key in use is an OEM_SLP one valid ONLY in machines pre-installed at the factory by the OEM - your macine was manufactured before Windows 7 was released, and therefore cannot support such a Key for Windows 7.

    You need to either purchase a full legal license for Windows 7 and use that to make the system genuine, or reformat and reinstall with the original Vista OS, using the manufacturer's Recovery media
