Windows HPC running .net core executables RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

Some of our algorithms are being migrated to .net core 2.0, and we wonder if we can executed these algorithms via windows hpc. Our compute nodes are linux machines. Please suggest.

Also, is there any plan to make windows hpc compatible with .net core (meaning can it be installed on linux machines with .net core).

  • Hi, there isn't anything prevent you from running .net core application on linux. Our hpc agent on linux node are native C/C++. You could launch .net core application on linux node through hpc pack.

We have plan to have a .net core version of HPC Pack SDK but that's still on the roadmap.
