Money 2005 UK - Investment Summary

Question
-
The Investment Summary appears as part of the 'My Money' front page. However, there seems to be a limit on the number of items that it can show. Unfortunately, it looks as though I have exceeded that, as the alphabetical list ends at R. I note though that there are investments on the list that have been sold (in some cases, long ago), which are taking up valuable space.
So: a) what determines the limit, and can I change it?
and b) how can I delete the unwanted items?
Many thanks for any help.
By the way, since MS finally stopped price updates last year, I have successfully installed another means of achieving most of the functionality (from ft.com); see http://microsoftmoneyoffline.wordpress.com/2010/02/12/java-app-to-update-quotes/. Good luck!

I don't have UK Money 2005, but in US MSMoney Plus Sunset, the Investment Summary only lists investments that you currently own.
What happens if, in the Investment Summary, you click on an investment that you have sold and look at the Investment History? That will show the accounts that Money "thinks" hold the investment and all the transactions. Is the position in those accounts actually zero?

Closed positions - where you have reduced the number and value of your holding to zero - will not show in the Investment Summary. If old holdings which you no longer have are showing you have not reduced the quantities and values to zero.
In Portfolio Manager, select "Change portfolio view" and check "Show closed positions". These will show in light grey. If holdings you no longer have still show as usual you will need to amend or add transactions to reduce the holding to zero.

Thanks both for your suggestions. There were only a couple of sold investments appearing in the Summary (and they WERE greyed out in the overall portfolio), but I have now resolved those by prefixing all sold investments with 'z', hence putting them to the end of the Summary.
However, the list now ends at T - any ideas how to relax the size limit?

I suggest clicking Shortcuts at the top of the screen, and adding the Portfolio icon for quick access. That will give you a much better picture things.
In the US version, here are Portfolio columns that I find to be useful, and which work without the Microsoft servers. Symbol, Name, LastPrice, Quantity, MarketValue, Gain, PriceAppreciation PriceAppreciation, TotalAnnualizedReturn, TotalReturn-1Week, TotalReturn-4Weeks, TotalReturn-3Month,TotalReturn-YTD, TotalReturn-3Month,TotalReturn-YTD, TotalReturn-1Year, TotalReturn-3Year, TotalReturn-AllDates, LastTransactionDate, Memo, %OfPortfolio, AverageCost, Commissions, Currency, CurrencyCode, CallDate, BondType.

Not strictly true with Money 2005 UK version.
I have about 5 funds that had their entire holding sold and show as closed everywhere else in Money but they still show in the Investment
Summary. There is a bug in Money 2005 UK where even though you sell the entire holding (ensuring no fractions of units are left) it still
shows in the investment summary.
My solution was similar to John's whereby, I have prefixed mine with X- so they are at the bottom of the list. I also needed to do this so
they were at the bottom of the list used to Update Prices, which I do manually.

I have almost 40 closed positions in Money 2005 UK and none show in my Investment Summary.

I have numerous closed positions as well that do NOT show up in the Investment Summary but I also have a few that do.
I have never been able to determine why those few are like that.
