TCP/IP Programming on MS DOS using Microsoft Network Client 3.0 on DOS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Anyone,

I have been looking for a way to program TCP/IP Sockets application on a legacy PC still running DOS, this system runs long term tests and I want to notify myself and others when the task completes, has a issue, etc.   The PC is setup to use Windows shares on  the Network Client 3.0, TCP/IP is enabled,  I note that there is a socket dll and I read that MS had a development Network package for DOS but have been unable to find it.   Could anyone point me to were I can find this and any documentation that is available.

    Best Regards,

    William Cook
