I am attempting to restore a "Documents" folder from a backup of a Vista system. I am just restoring the folder to a target directory on a W 8.1 machine. The first attempt seemed to exclude the subdirectories,
so I deleted the target and started over. Now after I specify the source directory from the backup and the target folder on the W8.1 machine, the backup wizard instantly says "The items are successfully restored", even though nothing has in
fact been restored.
How do I reset this process so I can restore the folder contained within the backup?
PS. I've tried restarting both the target and WHS 2011 machines, but this issue survives the restart.
