Media Player with external hard drive

Question
-
I am using an external drive for my music, drive G.
Media player 11 cannot access half of my music because it thinks it is on a "Drive D". Drive D is my CD drive on the PC so there is no way the music is there.
When I explore my G drive, all of the music is there.
How can I get Media Player to recognize that the music is all on the G drive?
