How can I avoid the comments pop up when I submit a timesheet (on click of save and submit button) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I am working with project server 2007 and sql server 2008.

The issue is..when you save and submit a timesheet, the comment box pops up. Can anyone tell me how can we avoid the comment pop up on click of save and submit button in Timesheets.

Is there any out of box setting available to disable comment pop up..?

    Please suggest.

I do not believe there is any default method to disable the Comments dialog.  Sorry.

  • Hi Dale,

can this be achieved writing some javascript and then add the source code in a content editor web part..?

Have seen some articles where in using some scripts they used to hide planned hours in timesheets. In the same way can we hide the comments pop up..?

    Can someone please help me.!!!

It might be possible, but I can't tell you and neither can Dale. You will need to follow up on the developer forum for Project Server. Start by downloading the SDK.
