Better support for IE6?!

Question
-
The support in this forum for the IE6 browser is attrocious. It's not an issue at home, but here at work where the "Standard Operating Environment" still hasn't caught up with 2002, these forums are virtually unusable. Thread headers end up in the middle of thread text, and replying to a thread causes a set of controls to randomly move around the screen as you try and enter anything. I don't think I could have made a site more user-unfriendly if I tried. (other than black text on a black background:)
Is there not a portal with "basic" CSS 2.0 without all the flashy-____?

We have a bug logged for this issue. (General usability of Forums in IE 6). We've been discussing it and looking to have the fix on our August Release. This is rough estimate but as August release comes closer, I/We'll provide a list of bug fixes.
Thanks.

Microsoft (if you're monitoring this forum), there are some very serious formatting issues with this site when viewed in IE 6. It is virtually unusable at times. Some of us have to work in "trailing edge" conditions; pretty near end-of-life versions.
Reproduction:- Open the page in the VisualFoxPro General forum (see user names overlapping the responses).
- Try to reply (difficult to describe... appears like a panel appears on top of normal page rendering but the text doesn't stay within the panel and spreads vertically over about 50% of the page.)
- Backspace or Ctrl-Arrow key in reply box (formatting changes and appears to place text back into reply panel, but random user name appears there as well (not the person being replied to)).
- General - Ghost users replying (no user name appears with the reply)
